Hydraulic Die Spotting Press

Die spotting presses are used in a wide range of applications, particularly for the verification and manufacturing of molds and dies. At Achieve Hydraulics & Pneumatics, these presses are designed to meet the dimensional requirements defined by the mold or die being proved, while operating with generally lower force than production presses. The focus is on accurately checking the contacting surfaces between the lower and upper parts of the die. Spotting presses are also characterized by precise stopping and guiding positions. While molds are typically less demanding in terms of guiding—commonly using column guides—the general recommendation is to incorporate tilting devices in both the bolster and slide to improve ergonomics and ease of handling for skilled workers during mold fitting.
